This trip was really special to me. I first told friends and family I wanted to visit Pakistan at the start of the year and they looked at me like I was crazy. Some even told me I was.

Pakistan has had a difficult past but I wanted to see it for myself and discover what it was really like to travel in Pakistan. Here is the first in a series of episodes from my trip.

This week just flew by!!! I can't believe it's already Friday!

We got back to LA on Tuesday and wow it feels good to be home and reunited with Katsu again even though I had such a great weekend on the East Coast. After living in NYC for so long we have a lot of friends out there and it's always such a good time when we get to catch up. For the first time this year (for me) it really felt like summer! It is always warm in LA but being in the Hamptons around summertime feels more like European summer to me for some reason. We enjoyed good company, food, and celebrated the long weekend. So much fun!!!

GF Brownies:
1 1/2 Cups Almond Flour2/3 cup coconut sugar1/4 Cup melted coconut oil2 eggs1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup melted dark chocolate 1/8 cup almond milk ( maybe it’s little less or more make sure the dough is smooth but it’s still very thick)1/4 tsp Baking sodaDash of salt
Chocolate chips

1. Mix all wet ingredients together
2. Mix dry ingredients in separate bowl and add to wet ingredients.
3. Bake for 25 min on 350F
